Fish upset he's not playing on center courts
Mardy Fish expressed his displeasure of being placed on a grandstand court for his win over Frank Dancevic in Miami. No. 8 Fish is the highest ranked American. "It was the same thing at Indian Wells; I didnât play on the stadium court, and also at the U.S. Open [last year] either,â Fish told the Miami Herald. "It shouldnât matter, but I want to play the big matches on the big courts. Iâve worked very hard to put myself where I am: in the top 10, the top American in an American event â" two American events â" and I havenât played on stadium court. I donât want to play on the grandstand. I want to play on the stadium.â Fish lost to Matthew Ebden in the third round of Indian Wells.
