Pirelli satisfied with Barcelona performance

Formula One tyre suppliers Pirelli have reported performance and degradation levels in line with expectations following last week's Barcelona test, where for the first time this year the teams tried out the full range of the Italian company's 2012-spec rubber, with the hard, medium, soft and super-soft compounds all being used. Several drivers carried out full race simulations on the new tyres and plenty of work was performed using the medium compound in particular
