"Last year they told us not to leave the site much because there were many problems in the country, but I never thought about that because every country has its problems and thereâs no place in the world that perfect, thatâs always nice and 100 percent OK," she told reporters. "There are good things and bad things and itâs the same in Italy, Spain, Switzerland or wherever. Everyone wants to make things better and are trying to do that."
Pennetta added that while she wants to win the title the most important thing is that "the trophy remains in Italy."
