Nadal Remains On Course; Fish Into QFs

Second seed Rafael Nadal, who is attempting to capture his 20th ATP World Tour Masters 1000 trophy, defeated No. 16 seed Kei Nishikori of Japan 6-4, 6-4 on Tuesday at the Sony Ericsson Open.
