"She keeps saying, 'we hope,'" Huber said of Raymond. "Absolutely we're going to be playing. I think it would be crazy if our country didn't select us to go as the team. But it's a selection process, so you have to honor and respect that. But we will be tough competitors and contenders."

Huber: 'Crazy' if we're not in Olympics
After winning her fourth title of the year in Dubai with partner Lisa Raymond, American Liezel Huber says she believes that she and her compatriot will be selected for the London Olympics. While Huber and Raymond are the worldâs top team and will automatically qualify for the Games if they are ranked in the Top 10 after Roland Garros, they still have to be selected by their country. Because former Olympic gold medalist Venus Williams has expressed a desire to play doubles and may need a wild card to get into the competition, Raymond is worried that they might not be picked.
"She keeps saying, 'we hope,'" Huber said of Raymond. "Absolutely we're going to be playing. I think it would be crazy if our country didn't select us to go as the team. But it's a selection process, so you have to honor and respect that. But we will be tough competitors and contenders."
